About Us

In 1962, Duane Haag founded Iowa Lot Striping. Initially, he started by cleaning shopping carts for grocery stores, and eventually bought his first small painter and began sweeping and painting parking lots. After Duane's passing, the business was purchased by his son, Jay Haag, who has been running the business for the past 32 years with the help of his brother Rod, and niece Sabrina. 

In March of 2024, Iowa Lot Striping was purchased by Shaye and Jesse Petersen. The Haag family continues to offer their experience and expertise in lot design and layout, painting, and sweeping.
